Mahir Nakip is a visiting scholar from Erciyes University-Turkey. He received his Ph.D. from Turkey in marketing (1985), then worked as an export manager for a Turkish company for two years. He taught marketing and statistics courses in Libia (1987-1991) and in Azerbaijan (1991-1992). Since 1992 he has been teaching same courses in Erciyes University.

He has been invited by our Center to work on a reseach project related to international market segmentation. Under this title he is going to segment the world market by using some statistical methods like cluster and discriminant analysis. He will present the results of his study as a lecture at the end of August 1997. The exact date will be announced later.
