1. Nabil Adam, Director of CIMIC, is the editor-in-chief of The International Journal on Digital Libraries, Springer/IEEE.
2. Nabil Adam, Director of CIMIC, is the editor-in-chief of The International Journal of Electronic Commerce, Springer.
3. Nabil Adam, Director of CIMIC, is one of the founding members of the IEEE International Conference on Advances in Digital Libraries (ADL), in 1993. Since then, ADL has become a leading conference in DL area and has been very successful.
4. Organized Workshop on Electronic Commerce at Rutgers University, Februrary 1998. This objective of this workshop is to exchange the EC research at IBM Wats on Research Center and Rutgers.
5. Co-organized the IEEE Advances in Digital Libraries, April 22-24, 1998, Santa Barbara, California.
6. Co-organized the IEEE Advances in Digital Libraries, May 7-9, 1997 at the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C.
7. Co-organized and co-sponsored the 1995 "Forum on Research & Technology Advances in Digital Libraries," May 13-15, 1996 at the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C.
8. Co-organized and co-sponsored a workshop on Digital Libraries on November 9, 1995 in Toronto, Canada.
9. Co-organized and co-sponsored the 1994 "Digital Libraries Workshop: Current Issues," May 19-20, 1994, Rutgers, Newark.
10. Co-organized and co-sponsored the 1994 ACM Conference on Information and Knowledge Management, November 29 - December 1, 1994, Gaithersburg, MD.
11. Co-organized and co-sponsored the 1994 Workshop on Electronic Commerce, December 1, 1994, Gaithersburg, MD.
12. Conducted a Seminar on "The Internet Resources in Medical Research, Medical Education and Medical Practice," for members of the American Association for Clinical Chemistry, Inc. held on April 28, 1995.
