Dear IFIP DBDec participants (appologies for double
posting),
here some last details now
that we have completed all reservations. Please find all important adresses at
the bottom of the mail.
This will also allow you to
get to the restaurants / venues independently if required.
1. Arrival / informal
dinner Sunday evening
A majority of you will stay
at the Sophia Country Club as recommended. However, since you will arrive at
different times & dates, we arranged for a voucher based system.
Please indicate at the
reception that you are with SAP / IFIP DBSec and you (and registered partner)
get a voucher for an arranged meal at the Country Club. The restaurant will be
open from 19:00 to 22:00 on Sunday night.
For those who decided not
to stay at the Country Club, I would like to invite you to meet with me at
20:00 at the reception of the Country Club to join the others.
2. Arrival at Nice airport
Since I only got a very
limited response about who will arrive when (and those responses did not
match), I was not able to arrange for shared transports.
A taxi to the Country Club
should cost you around 50 Euros and there are always taxis in front of the
airport at any time.
3. Monday morning /
registration
The busses will pick you up
from the Country Club at 8:30, I will be there in person / travel with you.
Otherwise,
registration is open from 8:45 at SAP Labs, 805 Av Dr Maurice Donat, 06250
Mougins.
There you will get the
proceedings, access badges, payment / attendance confirmation etc.
