Space Technology Computer Summer Camp

Environmental Problem Solving Using Computer Applications

Sponsored by the Hackensack Meadowlands Development Commission (HMDC)

Phase I of Camp 1999

The camp students took a trip to The HMDC Headquarters to learn hands-on about the
problems facing the Meadowlands marsh.

Camp students spent time every day in our computer lab learning about the internet and useful computer applications. They applied NASA space technology and their new learned computer knowledge to present their solutions to environmental problems facing their area, the Hackensack Meadowlands. Their presentations at the end of the camp were open to the public.
